3- DON’T BUY A FAKE
If you are buying a ticket and want to check to make sure it is legit – send an email with the full 8 digit/numerical ticket number AND full name and email address of the person selling it and if they are not the original purchaser, the original purchaser’s name and email also. Beware if someone will not or cannot give you the original purchaser’s information. Likewise, beware if someone wants you to send a blank money order to a PO Box. If a seller is sketchy about their info, chances are there is something wrong. ALWAYS have third party purchased tickets sent Fed-Ex with insurance. If you opt for regular mail you leave yourself open for the mysteriously empty envelope and a scammer claiming “Oh I mailed it, I don’t know what could have happened.” (Thanks Alicia, because of your scam we know what else to tell people to beware of.)
*snort* if the gate staff only knew how much hatred i have for this particular person– uh, i mean, scammers like this. ;)
